If you’ve ever wished your vet could come to you, you’re not alone. Mobile veterinary services are becoming more popular than ever - and for good reason. They offer calm, convenient care without the stress of a clinic visit.
But if you’ve never used one before, you might be wondering…how exactly does a mobile vet practice work?
Let us walk you through it.
Step 1: Book Your Appointment
Everything starts with a simple booking, either online or by phone. We’ll find a time that suits your schedule, and make sure we understand your pet’s needs in advance, whether it's a booster, a check-up, or something more specific.
We cover Witney, Burford, Carterton, and surrounding villages, and always aim to arrive on time and fully prepared.
Step 2: We Come to You
On the day of your appointment, we arrive at your home in our fully equipped mobile vet van. Depending on what your pet needs, we may conduct the appointment inside your home or in our quiet, comfortable vehicle.
Most pets are far more relaxed at home, especially those who dislike car rides or waiting rooms. You can stay close by, ask questions, and help keep your pet at ease throughout.
Step 3: Gentle, Thorough Care
Whether it’s a vaccination, wellness check, ultrasound, or travel paperwork, we take our time to explain every step and handle your pet with kindness and respect.
We bring the same professional-grade equipment you’d find in a traditional clinic, but with a more personal, one-on-one experience. Many clients say their pets barely notice the visit happening, especially nervous or elderly animals.
Step 4: Clear Advice & Easy Payment
Once your appointment is complete, we’ll give you a clear summary of your pet’s health, answer any remaining questions, and provide any follow-up advice or next steps.
Payments can be made easily via card, and we’ll email you your records and receipts so you have everything in one place.
